Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare seems similar to Ghosts in some ways

In the video outlining the new features of the Advanced Warfare Companion app and Advanced Warfare Clan Wars, some details were revealed in the trailer. Similar to CoD: Ghosts, the Companion App will be necessary to create and manage clans, it is essential for participating in the actual Advanced Warfare Clan wars events and it also adds the new functionality of editing in-game player emblems.

It appears like the app will be very well structured and will also be similar to the last year's app, wherein the teams could fight for exclusive gear by winning map control wars in specific game modes when they battle against other plans. Like Ghost, Advanced Warfare will also reward players with character customization where the player can add the gears which he earned.
