Can you play Fallout London on PS5 and PS4 consoles?

Fallout London is out right now, allowing Fallout 4 players to relive an all-new adventure. This huge fan mod introduces players to a post-apocalyptic rendition of London, with an all-new story, map, characters, quests, and much more - but is this experience available to console users?

The PS4 and PS5 are no strangers to Bethesda's beloved series. So with Fallout 4 and the next-gen upgrade available on the two consoles, can PlayStation fans enjoy Fallout London as well? Unfortunately, the answer is no.

Why Fallout London is not on PS4 and PS5

As per the official FAQ for the mod, developer Team FOLON has no plans to bring the mod to consoles, including PS4 and PS5 - at least for the time being. While this suggests things may change in the future, we do not recommend PlayStation fans to hold out hope.

Consoles have a closed-off environment, and as such, mods not endorsed by Bethesda cannot be featured. The only chance for this mod to arrive on PS4 and PS5 is through the Bethesda Creation Club. This is their official platform for mods, so Team FOLON will have to get their game there to make it work.

Coming back to the FAQ, here's what the mod developers have to say:

"Specific standalone items may be released separately. The community has the permission to convert said standalone items to other platforms."

In other words, assets released separately can be used by other modders to be officially made available on consoles. Regardless, this does not mean that the mod will be playable on those systems anytime soon. In other words, PS4 and PS5 fans will need to get Fallout 4 and its DLCs on PC to enjoy the mod.

Fallout London is available to download on PC via GOG and is also compatible with Steam.
