The Clash of Clans September 2024 update is now live, bringing a host of new features and improvements to the beloved mobile game. From the thrilling September Treasure Hunt Event to the introduction of the Supercharge mechanic and the stunning Clash of Dragons Scenery, players have plenty to look forward to.

While the September update boasts many features, a troubling bug has emerged that could spell disaster for players who aren't careful. The Magic Item bug occurs when players receive items from chests that push their regular storage over the capacity limit.

In such cases, the game will mistakenly consume items from the player's regular storage instead of the temporary one, leading to the unintentional loss of valuable resources.

Developer Supercell has responded to the bug by issuing a warning to players on X, advising them to keep a close eye on their storage limits and to empty their reserves before opening chests.

Clash of Clans players have responded to the post to express their outrage, share their experiences, and offer advice to their fellow clashers.

A user named Mohamed Sabry pointed out the frequent apologies from the developer, indirectly hinting at the number of bugs that have been plaguing the game lately.

"You have been apologizing alot lately."

Another user named Gentle Soul retaliated the same emotion and joked about how long they've been apologizing:

"Bro you are apologising since 3 days😂😂"

The players continued to show their disappointment with Noob Clasher expressing the contradicting statement from the developer. While they do release new updates, they only seem to add to the existing problems.

"New update 🙅 Only bugs and problems ✅" - said Noob Clasher

The tirade of complaints continued as one user named The Freakout Tent replied hilariously with an Elon Musk quote.

As Elon Musk would say "Failure to Launch" - said The Freakout Tent

Given the trouble the game has been putting the players through, X user Gentle soul came up with a rewarding solution that would lessen the disorder that has been coming with every update. User Straw Hat was also on the same frequency, but they demanded a more valuable reward.

"Pay everyone 500 gems." - said Gentle soul
"Hey For All The Issues We Are Facing Lately Gift Everyone Free Legendary Scenery Thank You." - added Straw Hat

The community's feedback is invaluable and players are hoping for a timely resolution from the developers.

The developer issues an apology for the outrage the Magic Item bug has caused in Clash of Clans

Clash of Clans is currently experiencing several bug-related issues that have frustrated players. The latest is the Magic Item bug which inadvertently spends in-game gems when players attempt to use these items to complete upgrades.

Having mentioned the way around this issue, the developers apologized for the issue on X saying:

"We recommend not using Magic Items from Chests if your regular storage is full, as this may result in accidentally using items you didn’t intend to. We apologize for the inconvenience!"

Despite the setback of the Magic Item bug, the future of Clash of Clans remains bright. The developers have a proven track record of addressing issues promptly and efficiently, and players can rest assured that a fix is in the works.
