DragBats is one of the best air attack strategies in Clash of Clans. It works best for Town Hall 13 or higher bases where Dragons, Skeleton Dragons, and Balloons can easily take down the base core. Bat Spells are then used to clear the remaining buildings.
Players should practice this attack strategy in multiplayer bases before using the same in clan war battles. Since most of the army composition consists of air troops, the enemy's Cannon, Mortar, and Bomb Tower are of no use.
In this article, we will explore the Town Hall 13 DragBats attack strategy in Clash of Clans, its army composition, and a step-by-step guide.

Army composition of Town Hall 13 DragBats in Clash of Clans
DragBats is one of the easiest attack strategies in Clash of Clans as players already have enough experience using DragLoon attack strategy at lower town hall levels. Dragbats focuses on using Dragons, Skeleton Dragons, Balloon, and Grand Warden together to take down the base core.
Once the base core is destroyed, Bat Spells are used on the Inferno Tower to take down the remaining defensive buildings. Players should use the Freeze Spells on the multi-target Inferno Tower to protect Bats.
The army composition of Town Hall 13 DragBats attack strategy is as follows:
- 7 Dragons
- 8 Balloons
- 4 Skeleton Dragons
- 3 Headhunters
- 1 Minion
- 1 Rage Spell
- 4 Freeze Spells
- 4 Bat Spells
- 1 Poison Spell
- 3 Super Goblins, 2 Yetis, 2 Bat Spells, and Battle Blimp (clan castle)
Players can change the army composition depending on the base formation. Skeleton Dragons can be replaced with Electro Dragons in the case of closed-compartment bases to use the latter's chain damage ability. Players can also replace two Freeze Spells with another Rage Spell to use on Dragons in the base core.
Step-by-step guide to using DragBats attack strategy in Clash of Clans
Following is the step-by-step guide to using Town Hall 13 DragBats attack strategy for perfect three stars:
- Drop all the Dragons on the attacking side in a line. Pick a side that is in the opposite direction of Air Sweepers.
- Deploy all the Skeleton Dragons, Balloons, Grand Warden, and Battle Blimp, once all the front defenses are distracted with Dragons
- Use the Poison Spell on the enemy's clan castle troops. The Rage Spell should be used on Dragons and Balloons once they reach the base core.
- Drop the HeadHunters on the enemy's heroes to poison them. This will allow the Dragons to easily take down the Royal Champion, Grand Warden, and Archer Queen.
- Open the Battle Blimp on Town Hall. Super Goblins and Yetis can easily take it down, allowing you to obtain the first star.
- Once the base core is destroyed, drop all the Bat Spells on the Inferno Tower. Use Freeze Spells on multi-target Inferno Towers.
- Use Royal Champion from the opposite side of the base to take down an Air Defense and other crucial buildings.
- Use Archer Queen and Barbarian King to clear outside buildings and distract defenses. Use Minions to clear corner buildings.
Practice the Town Hall 13 DragBats attack strategy in Clash of Clans multiplayer battles to better understand how to properly deploy Bat Spells. In the case of single-target Inferno Towers, you should save your Freeze Spells and use them on Wizard Towers and Air Defenses instead.
