DragLoon is one of the strongest Town Hall 8 attacking strategies that can easily three-star any base, especially ring bases. Dragons are effective against ring bases as they aren't attacked by multiple defenses together.
Single defenses aren't good enough to stop a Dragons push. The Town Hall 8 DragLoon attacking strategy can be used in two ways: one is using all Rage spells with DragLoon, while the other is dropping Lightning spells to take down an Air Defense initially.
Zap DragLoon should be used if you can take down multiple air-attacking defenses along with Air Defense. Rage DragLoon should be used only if all the Air Defenses are close to each other near the Town Hall. Let's focus on Zap DragLoon which can be used on any Town Hall 8 clan war and multiplayer base easily.
The army composition of a Town Hall 8 DragLoon attacking strategy is as follows:
- Eight Dragons
- Eight Balloons
- Seven Lightning spells
- Balloons and Lightning spell (clan castle)
Steps to implement a Town Hall 8 DragLoon attacking strategy
Following is the step-by-step guide to using the Town Hall 8 DragLoon attacking strategy to three-star multiplayer and clan war bases:
- Look for the Air Sweeper position and start the attack from the opposite direction.
- Use four Lightning spells to take down the Air Defense. Try using it in a way that nearby defensive buildings like Archer Towers and Wizard Towers also get some damage.
- Use the remaining Lightning spells to take down another Air Defense.
- Now, start the attack from the opposite direction of Air Sweeper by dropping four Dragons and all Balloons.
- Once the outside buildings are cleared by them, drop the remaining Dragons along with clan castle Balloons.
- Use Barbarian King in the opposite direction to clear outside buildings and distract air-attacking defenses like Archer Towers, Wizard Towers, and Hidden Teslas.
Players may change the DragLoon attacking strategy according to base formation like replacing four Lightning spells with two Rage spells. This is very useful if two Air Defenses are close to each other and the third Air Defense is far away. In such conditions, take down the far Air Defense with Lightning spells and use Rage spells on Dragons when they come near the other two Air Defenses.
