The Mass Hogs attacking strategy can easily three-star any Town Hall 8 as the focus of the Hog Riders is to clear all defensive buildings first, allowing other troops to clear outside buildings. This strategy aims to clear the enemy's clan castle troops using Wizards, Archers, or Dragons before using all Hog Riders.

The army composition of Town Hall 8 Mass Hogs attacking strategy is as follows:

  • 35 Hog Riders
  • 5 Wizards
  • 5 Archers
  • 3 Healing spells
  • 1 Poison spell
  • Hog Riders (clan castle)

Players may change the army composition based on the enemy's clan castle troops, clan castle placement, and base formation. It is advisable to replace all Wizards with Archers if the enemy's clan castle has Valkyries.

If the clan castle is placed in the middle of the base, then some Hog Riders can be used to trigger the clan castle troops. Similarly, if the Barbarian King is placed in one of the base corners then players should reduce the number of Hog Riders and replace them with Archers and Giants to take down the Barbarian King before implementing the Mass Hogs strategy.

Following is the step-by-step guide to using Mass Hogs attacking strategy in Clash of Clans to three-star multiplayer and clan war bases:

  1. Use Archers or Hog Riders to trigger the enemy's clan castle troops depending upon the clan castle placement and area range.
  2. Take the troops to one of the base corners and drop Wizards and Archers in a crucial formation around the enemy's clan castle troops. Also, use the Poison spell on the enemy troops.
  3. If the Barbarian King is in one of the corners then consider taking him down using Archers and Wizards otherwise start the Mass Hogs attack.
  4. Drop all the Hog Riders from the same side in three lanes. This will protect them from hidden traps.
  5. Use the Healing spells on Hog Riders once they come close to Wizard Towers and Giant Bombs.
  6. The Barbarian King and the remaining troops should be used to clear outside buildings.

Players should focus on locating the areas where two Giant Bombs may be together as that can instantly take down Hog Riders. The Healing spell can be used on the Hog Riders beforehand at such places.

Notably, players should always prioritize clearing the enemy's clan castle troops first before starting Mass Hogs attacking strategy.
