Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update: New arena, changes to Queen, card cap, and more

There is an impending Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update that will introduce myriad tweaks and alterations to a lot of aspects related to Goblin Queen's Journey. The tweaks, alterations and fresh content will be added to Clash Royale in the next seasonal update.

New content in Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update

We will see the following new features added to the game in the upcoming Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update:

New Goblin Card

A lot of new Goblin-related cards were added to the game along with the introduction of the Goblin Queen's Journey. Supercell has decided to add yet another new Goblin card. Players will be able to unlock it instantly upon release and even though "it is a Goblin card, its name doesn't contain the word 'Goblin'."

New Arena

New Arenas are always a fun way to spice up battles. With almost 50 unique Arenas in the game, there is a lot of variety but this new Arena in the Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update will make things more interesting for players who frequent this game mode.

Players will also be able to redeem more rewards from this Arena:

• 1x Goblin Stash (Chest)
• 700x New Goblin Card
• 2x Magic Chest
• 1x Goblin Strongbox (Chest)
• 1x Goblin Bounty (Chest)
• 1x Legendary King´s Chest

Tweaks and changes in the Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update

Players will encounter the following alterations in the upcoming Clash Royale Goblin Queen's Journey update:

Queen and card cap changes

Supercell wants to bring uniformity among the different game modes and that is why the company has decided to make the following changes:

• There will be no level cap
• The Queen Tower will follow the level of the King Tower

Evolution Slots

Players will instantly unlock one card Evolution slot in the Goblin Queen's Journey game mode. They will unlock the second Evolution slot upon reaching Arena 4. Supercell claims this procedure will enrich the deck diversity in Clash Royale.

Smoother progression

Once the new update drops, players will lose fewer trophies upon facing defeat in matches. This will allow everyone to progress quickly through the trophy road. This in turn will let players unlock Arenas at a quicker rate. Revised trophy values after lost battles will be as follows:

• Arena 1: +6
• Arena 2: +3
• Arena 3: +0
• Arena 4: -3

Say goodbye to Silver Chests

Silver Chests will be removed from the reward pool. So, you will get better quality chests for winning battles in the Goblin Queen's Journey game mode.
