Popular mobile arena game Clash Royale has released a major update seeing balance changes in some of the units which shifts the meta of the game. Released in 2016, Clash Royale has seen more than $1 billion in revenue generated and is one of the most popular mobile games around.
#1. Barbarian Count increased to 5, but HP per Barbarian decreased by 13%
This change is a slightly refreshing one. Although the number of Barbarians have increased, the decrease in HP makes the Barbarian unit much more vulnerable. Barbarians were much stronger in the previous patch and because they are easier to kill, they have become weaker.
#2. Bomb Towers now deal 369 damage on death
Bomb Towers never had any damage upon death in the previous patches. Matching with the theme of the unit, Bomb Towers will now deal 369 splash damage upon death. This helps to stall units faster and makes it easier to kill.

#3. Wall Breakers reduced hit speed from 1.5 sec to 1.2 sec
Wall Breakers will now throw their barrels faster! Even the 0.3 sec makes a huge difference. Although they are vulnerable units, they have become deadlier when they come in contact with a tower.
#4. X-bows HP increased from 1330 to 1383
X-bows have received a buff of 4% additional HP. X-bows are neat at long range sniping and they are hard to kill without the use of spells or a nearby tower. Now even with the small HP difference makes them deadlier.
#5. Goblin Gang, Rascals, Bats, Barbarians have a 0.15 increased deployment time
These weaker units have received a larger spawn time which makes them easier to clear. Along with the nerf to Barbarians, this is really killing the unit!
