Concord, an upcoming AAA Hero shooter from Firewalk Studios is scheduled to release this fall, on August 23, 2024, at 7 PM CET/ 10 AM PT/10:30 PM IST. Following this shooter’s announcement during Sony’s State of Play event, the FPS community is eager to dive into the colorful world of this 5v5 shooter. The developers have promised to bring a plethora of unique Hero abilities, weapons, and other content, making it a distinct addition to the world of Hero shooters.

With that in mind, this article will shed some light on the upcoming FPS's release date, key details, available platforms, and other necessary information before players can jump onto the colorful galaxy.

As mentioned earlier, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Concord is all set to release this fall, on August 23, 2024. Meanwhile, developers at Firewalk Studios will host two stages of the Open Beta phase, before its release.

The first stage of the Open Beta will be available on July 12-14, 2024, for players who’ve pre-ordered the game from their respective marketplaces. The second Open Beta phase will commence from July 18 to July 21, 2024, regardless of players’ purchase status.

During the Open Beta period, players will get access to four game modes, five maps, and 16 Freegunners.

Numerous tweets and videos about Concord have surfaced over the internet for the last couple of months. Judging from that, the overall game’s graphics look quite alluring. Each Freegunner has unique abilities, and weapons including crossbows, snipers, and pistols, which are something the FPS player base will cherish.

Moreover, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Firewalk Studios have unveiled some key content about the game. Being an upcoming AAA Hero shooter, the FPS community is wondering about the Heroes/Freegunners available in the game. Hence, without further ado, here’s a quick list of all the Freegunners:

  • Lennox
  • Star Child

Each of the Freegunners will have a distinct set of abilities. Despite the game featuring 16 of them, the developers have only unveiled five.

According to the officials, they will follow the Overwatch 1 pricing system where once players purchase the game for a certain amount of price, the rest of the future content will be free.
