Most recent changes in CS2 rosters
The most recent Counter-Strike 2 roster changes were made by G2 Esports and Bleed Esports. G2 Esports had benched nexa and the team's former IGL, HooXi, leaving two slots empty on the five-man team.
G2 eventually acquired malbsMd from M80. The team also acquired Snax from GamerLegion and announced the signing on July 3, 2024.
On the same day, at just about the same time, Bleed Esports announced the signing of nexa.
This year, fans saw the return of Stewie2k, who went on to win at IEM Dallas 2024 with G2. However, it would seem that the veteran is now without an organization.
The Esports World Cup will host its Counter-Strike 2 tournament from July 1, 2024. If Stewie2k still doesn't have a team by then, it is likely that fans won't see him perform on a big international stage for a while. However, the good news is that teams are still making roster changes ahead of the tournament.
The Esports World Cup has a $1,000,000 prize pool for the Counter-Strike 2 tournament. Naturally, every organization wants the best team in the world for the event and will make all the necessary roster changes before the action begins.
