The CS2 community has seen a lot of hackers in the game so far. So much so that its complaints about the VAC Live anti-cheat went pretty viral in recent months. Spin-botters, wall-hackers, and more were soon stopped by Valve in massive ban waves. The game has since banned over 26,000 accounts and continues to raise that number. However, there are always some cheat abusers who get away.

A Reddit post went viral on the forum sharing a clip of a player accused of cheating. The player was somehow bested by OP u/HoudinnerKarlo and was eventually kicked out for their suspicious behavior.

Reddit users with similar experiences soon began coming forward. One CS2 player noted how they also faced a cheater on the enemy team who was kicked out. Left in a 4v5 scenario, the enemy neat was clearly at disadvantage. So the player's team made it a tie instead of winning.

Interestingly, another member of the CS2 community recalled a similar incident. This time around, the suspected cheater was on allies' side. Once reported, the opponent team showcased great gaming spirit by drawing to a tie.

While some people found teammates and opponents who would report and kick cheaters, others couldn't do the same. A CS2 player noted how they couldn't get rid of a cheater during a four-stack queue with the fifth being a suspected hacker.

In the meantime, there was a Redditor who hadn't had the greatest experience with opponents having a cheater among them. They shared how they hadn't seen many teams get rid of the hacker but instead just let them reign free.

Finally, there were some members of the CS2 community who could care less about cheaters. In fact, it would seem that they didn't have much to say about the clip shared by OP in the first place.

CS2 community on par with TF2's when it comes to bots and cheaters

The CS2 community has faced a lot of cheaters and bot lobbies since the game's release. In recent history, the same can be said about Team Fortress 2 players. Interestingly, both the games fall under Valve's umbrella.

While Counter-Strike 2 has left many players unsatisfied, TF2 fans are on the verge of getting rid of the game in large numbers. In fact, to support their ardent disapproval, many have been review-bombing the title on Steam.

All of it is because of bots and cheaters. Bots in TF2 have been rampant, with one instance where a bot was advertising highly explicit illegal material online. And the regular occurences, too, where bots would overcrowd lobbies making them unplayable. Some of these issues would sound all too familiar to CS2 players.
