Thera is one of the newest maps added to CS2. The map came into the game after much speculation regarding a new operation and a major update. While the former was not released, players have been enjoying a host of new CS2 maps, including Mills, Poolday, and Memento. All the maps are workshop maps that were made part of the in-game map rotation for various modes. Thera is part of the Casual, Competitive, and Deathmatch map pool.

Naturally, players are looking to get accustomed to the map and perform well on it. So here's a CS2 Thera lineup guide that can help you block angles conveniently while trying to enter a site.

Thera is based on the actual location of Santorini, Greece. The map has white and blue contours all over it and has a relatively small and tight Mid area. Smoking off several angles before going to Mid is generally a good approach.

Furthermore, it has two sites where you may need multiple smokes and Molotovs in place to secure a safe plant.

Some important callouts include Mid, A Connector, A Site, B Site, A Main, A Short, B Main, B Short, Piano, and Heaven. This Counter-Strike 2 Thera lineup guide will discuss some smoke lineups, starting with Mid.

Thera Mid

Smokes

Smoke lineups are perhaps essential for T-side players since CT-sided players can simply look at all the chokepoints and do simple straight throws to smoke entryways and so on. However, Terrorists need certain angles to already be covered up before they reach there. Here are some CS2 Thera lineup executes to smoke off important areas in Mid.

B Connector: From T Spawn, you can tuck yourself into the corner by the stairs. Next, aim upward toward the wall and aim at a darker patch in the white of the wall. To execute, do a simple jump throw. This CS2 Thera lineup will take the grenade to the wooden doors right outside B Main and cover the pathway up entirely.

A Connector (Image via YouTube/@CS2Tactics)

A Connector: To smoke off A Connector from the same position, adjust your crosshair in CS2 closer to the right side of the wall. Line up your reticle as shown in the image and do a jump throw. This will smoke off A Connector in Mid.

Mid Window (Image via YouTube/@CS2Tactics)

Mid Window: You can smoke off Window from the same spot in spawn. Line up your reticle between the two blue beams jutting out of the wall. Next, raise the crosshair a little bit above the edge of the wall as shown in the image. Execute by doing a W-Jump Throw to smoke off the Window in mid.

B Ramp: While going towards B Site, descend from Stairs and tuck yourself into this corner. Line up your reticle with the bottom of the 'Y' in the word 'Victory' painted on the wall. Next, do a left and right click throw to smoke off Ramp. This CS2 Thera lineup can also work for Molotovs but smokes are a better option.

B Stairs: From the exact same spot, you can execute a CS2 Thera lineup to smoke off B Stairs. Aim at the mouth of the mural as shown in the image and do a jump throw. This will effectively smoke off B Stairs.

Molotov

B Balcony: Get up on the edge of the wall as shown in the image and aim at the rock patterns in the wall in B Back. Once you've set up your crosshair exactly as shown in the image, do a jump throw to molly the B Balcony area.

Thera A-Site

Piano: Go to Lamp and crouch after tucking yourself into this corner under the lamp. Aim at the little circular disk visible above the blue door. Now, do a crouch jump throw to execute this CS2 Thera lineup. This will effectively smoke off Piano on A Site.

A Connector (Image via YouTube/@CS2Tactics)

A Connector: From the same area, line up your reticle with the edge of the wall and the balcony as visible in the image. Execute a jump-throw to smoke off the double doors of A Connector.

A Site CT Smoke (Image via YouTube/@CS2Tactics)

CT: To smoke off the CT angle close to A site, move to this spot in Long. Line up your reticle with the wall and the bottom of the bell window as shown in the image. There is a comfortable margin of error here as even getting it somewhat wrong will still work. Do a jump throw to execute this CS2 Thera lineup.

That concludes our CS2 Thera lineup guide. For flash executes, a good approach is to flash over walls and structures with a W left click throw as you enter sites. This should help blind opponents not covered up by smokes.
