DC to release comic based on the game Mortal Kombat X

DC revealed an exciting new Mortal Kombat X news recently at the New York City Comic Con event stating that the new comic book series is going to be released soon, which will serve as a prequel to the upcoming Mortal Kombat X Video game.

The comic book series will feature many of your favorite characters and will these characters not only feature in the comic book series but will also feature in the game, well, some of them at least.

Shawn Kittelsen writes the series, Dexter Soy does the interior art and the cover is done by Ivan Reis.

The first piece of artwork from the series takes a look at both the Scorpion and Sub Zero. The producers have not revealed much of the plot yet but chances are that it will give the players a better understanding from the upcoming new game.

It’s expected that DC will be releasing the comic series sometime in January 2015.

Mortal Kombat X the actual game will be released on from April 14th 2015 for the PC, PS4,Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
