Dead Rising maintenance tunnel key locations

The recently released zombie survival title Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is a time-sensitive game where you must kill zombies and save survivors from a shopping mall under a zombie attack. The story takes place in Willamette, Colorado. Given that the main story of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster takes place in three days, equivalent to six hours in real life, you must think quickly and save time wherever possible.

For this, the maintenance tunnels prove to be the most effective. You can use these tunnels to travel faster from one place to another without spending much time. However, they are not unlocked from the start and require a key.

Unfortunately, when you start Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, there will be only one maintenance tunnel entrance that you can use. The rest of them will be locked. Otis will tell you that he lost the key somewhere in the tunnel. Find it to use the other maintenance tunnels. For this, go to Leasure Park, which is in the center of the mall.

Go to the top left of the park using the map. Once you reach the parking lot, you will see an entrance to the tunnel. Take a car from the parking lot to help you proceed. Drive into the entrance tunnel, ensuring you are heavily equipped with dangerous weapons to help you encounter large groups of zombies.

We suggest carrying a submachine gun and a Katana to help you in combat. Dodge or kill the enemies in your path and reach the storage room in the middle of the tunnels, where you will find the key. Locate a ladder in the back of the room under which you will find the key marked with a blue star icon.

The key in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will allow you to access the tunnel from multiple locations around the mall, making the gameplay much more convenient. Now, the entrances to the maintenance tunnels will be marked yellow on your map. We suggest using a car every time you access the tunnels since you will encounter a lot of zombies. Also, ensure to never escort a large group of survivors using the tunnels, as it will endanger their lives.
