Deadlock FISSURE Underworld is the first high-tier tournament of the game. Despite being in an early development phase, the hype around Deadlock has been immeasurable. Event organizer FISSURE took advantage of the game's early popularity and has officially announced this contest, which features a $15,000 prize pool.

Deadlock FISSURE Underworld: Format, teams, and prize pool

Format

The tournament features eight teams divided into two groups, with all teams starting in the Upper Bracket. Losing the first match will demote the team to the Lower Bracket while sending the winning team directly to the Upper Bracket Finals.

The two teams demoted to the Lower Bracket in the early round will fight for a spot in the Lower Bracket Finals, where they will play against the loser of the Upper Bracket Finals. Finally, the Playoffs feature two Semi-Final matches, leading to the Finals.

Eight teams have qualified for the tournament through two open qualifier events :

Prize pool

The total prize pool of the tournament, as mentioned before, is $15,000 which will be distributed amongst the top four teams in the following format:
