Cayde appears to be returning to the story in The Final Shape, according to a teaser released at the PlayStation Showcase in 2023. What platforms will Destiny 2: The Final Shape be released on?
It hasn't been confirmed completely, but Destiny 2: The Final Shape is expected to follow in the footsteps of previous expansions, which means it will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. While Bungie was acquired by Sony in January 2022, the two sides have expressed a desire for Destiny 2 to remain cross-platform.
However, while Bungie is yet to formally reveal the different platforms on which The Final Shape will be released, fans can expect it to be available on nearly all of the systems on which Destiny 2 is currently available, with the exception of Google Stadia.
