According to an Activision executive, Destiny is set to get a major content release later this year. This information got revealed when Eric Hirshberg received a call from an investor. The last solid expansion we know is that “The House of Wolves”, which will be launching in sometime around April to June as he said they will be launching it in the second quarter. This content pack will be the game’s second expansion pack.
He also said that they might announce a major content release for the fall later this year. Also, earlier this year information about a much more feature-rich offering called ‘Comet: Plague Darkness’ was leaked. This would be coming with new subclasses, weapon types, PvP maps, story missions and locations and might be large enough to be available on a disk.
