Devil May Cry 5: Minimum PC Requirements Reduced

Now, this is something that rarely happens. According to the game's updated Steam page, it was revealed that Devil May Cry 5 will now require less powerful technical specifications and that means that fans with a little lower system GPU can rejoice as they will be able to run the game.

This also means that Capcom has doubled down on optimizing the PC port of the game which is obviously great news considering 2008's Devil May Cry 4 PC port which was every gamer's worst nightmare.

However, it also may indicate that Capcom might have degraded the game's visuals which won't be much of a surprise seeing that almost every AAA game this generation got one.

Needless to say, the major changes that differ from the original specs are as follows

#1 You now need an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD-6300 instead of i7-4770 to run the game on minimum settings. a Radeon R7 260x will also do the trick.

#2 For recommended specs players require an Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD FX-9590 now instead of i7-4770. Besides the processor, Graphics card required now are GTX 1060 with 6GB VRAM and AMD Radeon RX 480 with 8GB instead of GTX960.

If you didn't know, Devil May Cry 5 is the next entry in the long-running action hack and slash series and it's back after a gap of 10 years with veteran director Hideaki Itsuno.

It features a returning cast of Nero from Devil May Cry 4 and Dante-the Demon hunter from all the past games along with a third new protagonist V. The game will be out on 8 March 2019, and will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
