Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC offers free perks to players

The Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC is set to be released on October 8, 2024, bringing in a host of new content to the game. This includes a new character class called Spiritborn, an all-new region called Nahantu, and fresh story content where the players are on a quest to find Neyrelle, and answers as to why the Prime Evil Mephisto has been imprisoned.

As this is the game's first DLC, fans are certainly wondering what perks will be available upon its launch. With that in mind, here are the benefits that everyone will get for free, regardless of whether they have purchased the Vessel of Hatred DLC or not.

All new content coming to Diablo 4 base game with Vessel of Hatred DLC's launch

Blizzard will bring over the following updates to Diablo 4's base game when the Vessel of Hatred DLC launches:

• New Max Level: 60
• New Difficulties System
• New Paragon Max Level: 300
• Paragon System Changes
• Item Quality Rework
• 2 New Character Slots
• New Class Skills and Passives for each Class
• New Party Finder Feature
• New Seasonal Content
• New Season Rewards (Season Journey, Battle Pass, Reputation Board)

It is important to note that characters who are presently Level 51 and above will have their level reset to 50 when the update goes live. Also, they can get three items at no extra cost simply by going to the in-game shop.

Free Twitch Drops and Discord Streaming content for Diablo 4 with Vessel of Hatred DLC's launch

Streaming the game on Discord between October 8 and October 15 will reward the player with the Sea of Voices weapon bundle. The quest must be accepted in the Discord app under the Discover tab, and after 15 minutes of streaming, a code redeemable on Battle.net will be earned.

Those who complete the Dark Citadel between October 8 and November 8 will also earn the Reins of the Longfur Beast cat mount. Additionally, there will be four weeks' worth of Twitch Drops content that players can claim simply by watching Twitch streamers who have Twitch Drops enabled.

The timeline for this content will run from October 8 to November 5, 2024, and the rewards are as follows.

• Week 1 (October 8-15): Ringmaster’s Word Two-Handed Staff Item Cosmetic (Sorcerer), Wrangler’s Hook Scythe Item Cosmetic (Necromancer), Guise of the Grand Vizier (Sorceror), Guise of the Tombkeeper (Necromancer) Back Trophy.
• Week 2 (October 15-22): Competitor’s Pride Two-Handed Axe Item Cosmetic (Barbarian), Guise of the Gladiator Back Trophy (Barbarian).
• Week 3 (October 22-29): Executioner’s Reach Two-Handed Bow (Rogue), Guise of the Eaglecaller Back Trophy (Rogue).
• Week 4 (October 29-November 5): Battlecaller’s Crook Two-Handed Staff Item Cosmetic (Druid), Guise of the Beastlord Back Trophy (Druid).

Additionally, gifting or purchasing two Twitch subscriptions to an eligible streamer will reward the player with the Ghost of the Conquered mount, while four subs will net the Glory of the Victor mount armor. All the above details can also be read on Blizzard's official blog posts.
