Does Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO feature Beast Gohan?

The launch of Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO is less than a week away, and fans of the series are eagerly awaiting the title's release. The game will allow players to compete in single-player as well as multiplayer modes and even give them the chance to recreate iconic fights of their choice from the franchise.

Featuring a roster of over 180 fighters from across Dragon Ball Z, Super, GT, and even some movies of the franchise, fans may wonder if one of the names in that list is that of Beast Gohan. Unfortunately, the answer is no, but there's every reason to believe he could feature in a future DLC.

Beast Gohan is not in the launch lineup of characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

As iconic of a character Beast Gohan is, he won't be a part of the 180+ characters who will be present at the game's launch. Many iconic characters, such as Broly, Super Saiyan, and Fusion Android 13, will feature in the base game. Given the almost 17-year-long hiatus, the series has been on, a large lineup of characters is sure to make fans of the series eager to play the game.

However, it is heavily speculated that the upcoming Superhero DLC for the game will include Beast Gohan in its lineup. Given the character's prominence, not including him in a DLC of this caliber would be odd, but that has yet to be officially confirmed by Bandai Namco.

Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will launch on October 10, 2024

The fourth installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series is scheduled to launch on October 10, 2024, with early access for the title being available three days earlier, starting October 7. Early access will only be available to owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions, who have pre-ordered the game. You can read more details on the same by clicking here.

The title also features a local multiplayer mode, where players can compete against one another within the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Adding onto this is the inclusion of an Episode Battle mode, which will allow players to recreate iconic fights from Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super.
