Does Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 have Denuvo?

With September 9, 2024, fast approaching, many from the gaming community would want to know if Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 has Denuvo or any other DRM software. Will the lack of Denuvo in Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 cause a cheating problem?

Despite the game largely focusing on the Campaign and PvE, there is a dedicated PvP mode called Eternal War. In it, you will face other players in a 6v6 match. As showcased in the roadmap, new PvP modes will be added later on. As such, you might be wondering if there will be cheaters due to the lack of Denuvo.

This is indeed a valid concern given how big an issue cheating in online games has become in recent years. This particular issue spiraled out of control during the recent Fortnite FNCS 2024. The community at large was not happy with hackers/cheaters being allowed to play without impunity. Fortunately, the game will feature anti-cheat at launch. This is what the developers had to say:
