Controller support is necessary in any action RPG, much so in HoYoverse's new hack-and-slash title Zenless Zone Zero. Unlike other titles from the same company, this game takes a unique approach to animation and combat, making it an interesting entry among existing heavyweights, such as Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact.

While most players have experienced HoYoverse's previous games with a mouse and a keyboard, they are known for controller-friendly layouts too. Zenless Zone Zero supports a controller for PC and mobile, alongside the usual controller layout on consoles such as PlayStation 5.

Zenless Zone Zero supports a controller on PC platforms. HoYoverse has added a separate layout for the device: be it Xbox or Dualsense. Hence, anyone wanting to play the game with their controller can do so just by plugging the device in.

Zenless Zone Zero controller on mobile

Zenless Zone Zero is playable with controller on mobile devices as well. However, the trick to plugging the device is a bit trickier than on PC. If you have an Xbox controller, try getting an adapter that caters to both your mobile phone's charging port and the controller's port. Connect both ends with the two devices and the game should automatically register the layouts.

You do not need any extra software to keep things in check.
