The more players with a Player Role+ or ++ in a team, the better it is tactically. Interestingly, both Dortmund and Barcelona have eight players with either a Player Role+ or ++ in the default starting lineup.

However, Raphinha and Pedri are not fit for their roles in EA FC 25, which is somewhat of a drawback.

Dortmund vs Barcelona: Final verdict

More of FC Barcelona's players have better ratings in departments key to their positions than Dortmund. While there is a slight issue with Player Roles, Raphinha has good ratings and Pedri has a CDM partner, making things less problematic. Thus, Barcelona can be considered the better team in EA FC 25.
