Five best Dota 2 TI13 Grand Final highlights
1) miCKe's Nature's Prophet
Dota 2 TI Grand Finals are infamous for their repeated hero and meta drafting in most matches. Reminiscent of the TI3 Grand Final, TI13 also featured Nature's Prophet played by a single player, this time by Liquid's carry, miCKe. NP was drafted in all three matches for miCKe and the safelaner did justice to the role.
He participated in most fights, pushed relentlessly, played for objectives, and most importantly with the team. Roaming the map as a constant threat and with a stable gold lead, miCKe's Nature's Prophet was the Kryptonite for Gaimin Gladiators' heroes in the Grand Final.
He purchased Gleipnir and BKB in all three games along with the following items:
- Parasma (Game 2)
- Silver Edge (Game 2)
- Hurricane Pike (Game 1 and 3)
- Monkey King Bar (Game 3)
- Morbid Mask (Game 3)

2) Bristleback's domination in the Dota 2 TI 2024 Grand Final
33 proved to be an apt replacement for Zai as Liquid's offlaner with his legendary BB performance in this year's Grand Final. He rushed Aghanim's Scepter as a result of a near-perfect laning stage and stacks. After completing Bloodstone and SNY, 33 spearheaded multiple prolonged high-ground pushes.
This forced dyrachyo to purchase Silver Edge, severely delaying his Aghanim's Scepter. However, this did not stop the Bristleback as he was simply too tanky and strong to kill. Additionally, 33 was constantly protected by his allies, which further broke GG's morale in the Grand Final.
Statistics of 33's Bristleback in Dota 2 TI 2024 Game 2:
- Damage - 29.5K
- Networth - 30.2K
- GPM - 685
- Last hits - 408
- KDA - 3/0/12
3) Riki pick in the Dota 2 TI13 Grand Final
GG stunned the crowd with a last pick Riki against Liquid in the first game of Dota 2 TI 2024 Grand Final. Everyone thought that Riki would easily outfarm Puck and haunt Liquid's heroes with an early Diffusal Blade. This assessment was shaping out to be true as GG had an early gold lead and advantage over their rivals.
However, the tides turned after he was surrounded and quickly eliminated in an unsafe spot by the river by Liquid at the 16th-minute mark. This untimely gank turned out to be disastrous as Riki lost an unstoppable 6x killing spree. From that moment, GG lost their early game initiative and was losing fights left, right, and center.

4) Boxi's three-man fear
Supports are often ignored when it comes to major highlights and plays. Boxi, Liquid's soft support, changed this narrative in the Dota 2 TI13 Grand Final. He cemented his legacy in the Grand Final highlight reels with a clutch three-man fear using Dark Willow at the 17th-minute mark in the third game. This teamfight sealed the deal for Liquid and helped them keep control of the map and GG till the end.
Boxi's timely action feared the enemy Windranger (carry), Pangolier (midlaner), and Marci (hard support). Meanwhile, the rest of Team Liquid quickly threw their spells and took advantage of the situation. Boxi put Willow's Terrorize to great use in the final game as GG's heroes were often at the end of getting disabled and feared.
5) Nisha's unstoppable Puck
Nisha is hands down the best midlaner in the Dota 2 competitive scene right now. He further added facts to the statement with his Puck in the TI13 Grand Final. Nisha played Puck in games 1 and 2 and provided what Liquid needed in all those losing Grand Finals.
Nisha in TI 2024 Grand Final did everything from escaping and initiating to catching multiple heroes in Dream Coil, and was overall quite annoying to GG's heroes. Quinn, the midlaner of GG, played Puck in the second game but couldn't emulate Nisha's impact.
This is because the latter veteran knew when to jump into multiple heroes and used spells at the right time, which set up kills for his team. Nisha's Puck plays have etched their place in the TI history books.
Statistics of Nisha's Puck in Dota 2 TI 2024 Game 2:
Game 1:
- Damage - 24.0K
- Networth - 17.6K
- GPM - 599
- Last hits - 222
- KDA - 4/4/15
Game 3:
- Damage - 57.9K
- Networth - 23.4K
- GPM - 679
- Last hits - 299
- KDA - 11/1/18
