#4 Mid-Lane Chaos Knight

Enter caption Chaos Knight
I have played a lot of Chaos Knight games but I can't say I have played it as a Mid Hero so here is something you need to try for yourself and see if it works well for you.

Chaos Knight mid is pretty weird but this hero is very tanky so it does well against certain enemies in the lane. Also, he has a life-steal which makes it easier for him to sustain in the lane. Now that it has a 4-sec cooldown at level one, you can constantly regain your HP and harass your enemy in a 1v1 Matchup.
Considering you will max out your 2nd spell and have at least 1 level of stun, he can start getting kills from a very early stage. In fact, he can even rotate and make things happen and so he can be a very good mid-laner.
The problem with Chaos Knight was that he was constantly forced to fight and often ended up being under-levelled or under-farmed. A situation like this crushes the hero, and Chaos Knight really needs to get his farm in time as he is not really a very fast farmer, one of the things he lacks unlike cores like TB, Juggernaut or AM.
If you have a couple or Bracer, a Trade and maybe an Armlet, you can start roaming around the map and pick off enemy supports or even cores with the help of your team. With a couple of Bracer and Trades, you will have over 1500 HP, a 5 sec slow and a Stun which is pretty much inescapable for most heroes.
After your starting items, you might wanna go for a Midas? Well, don't hate me but It kind of works considering he has his gold talent, even without his gold talent a Midas is good for the steady farm. As a mid, he will be roaming around, fighting and less farming.
Even if a couple of fights go bad Chaos Knight will not fall far behind, and the attack speed is good too. He does not fare well against a Luna or TB or AM, doesn't push towers particularly well and he is not very good at split pushing either, so as a Mid with a good farm, he can purchase Midas and later sell it off.
Next stuff is Heart and BKB. You can consider making Manta in a few games. Honourable mentioned item - Solar Crest. It gives you mana regen, mana pool and decreases the enemy armour significantly. Which combined with your second spell can lead you to one-shot many heroes.
#5 Off-Lane Sven
Because of the Majors and now Pubs, we all know off-lane Sven is the current trend.
Because of Warcry, Sven is really good as an off-laner. He has stun control, gives the whole team extra movement speed and extra health. He can farm fast and push waves. If your off-laner is getting items, your enemies will have a problem. He has damage dealing capabilities and right now he is pretty much one of those all-rounder offlane heroes.
I don't even need to mention the items, it's more like an honorary mention. Depending on the game, you can start with Bracer and a wand. Go for Phase boots or Power Trades. Next stuff you might wanna get will be Blink but Blink is not really that important on offlane Sven. Pipe, Crimson, Halberd, BKB is very much viable on him.
