  • Armor: Light Armour
  • Weapons: Staff

Being a mage in Dragon Age The Veilguard allows you to engage your enemies from a distance using spells.

There are three specializations in the mage tier that you can unlock, which are:

  • Spellblade: Melee-focused builds with magic
  • Evoker: Fully magic build that allows you to utilize spells.

The rogue offers you a choice between going in for close-quarters combat or engaging your enemies from a distance using your trusty bows. You will have a set of trusty tools that you will be able to use to gain the upper hand in battles.

  • Duelist: A highly agile rogue who can dual-wield weapons
  • Saboteur: Focuses on traps and other gadgets to sway the tide of battle in your favor

Warrior

  • Eligible Races: Elf, Dwarf, Qunari, and Human
  • Armor: Heavy Armour
  • Weapons: Sword and Shield or Two-Handed

Using any warrior specialization allows you to build your rook as a tanky-heavy attacking unit who will always stay in the front line and deal as much damage as they can to the opponents. You will be entirely melee-focused if you use the warrior class in Dragon Age The Veilguard.

The specialization options are as follows:

  • Reaper: A berserker-like build that allows you to dish out more damage at the cost of your own health
