Dragon Age The Veilguard: Last Rites side quest walkthrough

During the Last Rites side quest of Dragon Age The Veilguard, you will stop yet another ritual (as you did in the prologue) and fight the evil Venatori forces. You must make sure to demolish the Venatori crystals. However, what makes the mission a little more complex is that these crystals must be destroyed in a particular order only.

Last Rites walkthrough in Dragon Age The Veilguard

This quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard takes place in the Wharf Crossing North area. The main objective is to track the source of the red beams to an unprotected crystal, destroy it, and then obliterate the other crystals. As you reach this Venatori ritual site, you will see a shielded crystal behind a few pillars. Carefully observe the red beam hitting the crystal from above.

Track these beams to locate an unshielded floating crystal. Attack and destroy it to remove the cover from the crystal in front (the first one you tracked). Now crush the second floating crystal, followed by the third near the large red barrier. Then do the same to the crystal present on the door to unlock it and reveal a new area.

As you move towards the gate, pick up the note near the gate. This will update your quest to 'Save the person in need.' Now, following the marker, head over to the Parthenius Main Docks. Here, you will find Venatori forces. Although defeating them is not that difficult, make sure to preserve your health as much as possible and get rid of these enemies.

Once this battle is over, you will spot two crystals used as locks to trap a civilian. Look around to locate an object hanging above the boat near the civilian. This object is nothing but a crystal you need to destroy. There is another on the boat, with the last one near the civilian himself. Once you destroy all three, move to the building to the north where you will find another crystal.

Destroy it, then turn around to find and crush another one. There will be a final crystal next to the civilian, crush it to rescue him and finish the quest. As rewards, you will get:

• Faction Strength
• Increased bond with the companions you brought along for this quest
