After completing the Where The Dead Must Go quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard, return to the Necropolis Halls and enter the Chamber of the Unforged. Here, defeat all the enemies and then interact with the door at the back to start this side quest.

As part of this quest, you will have to eliminate three enemies in Thedas to finally face the boss. Mentioned below are the three locations where you will find these demons.

1) Hossberg Wetlands

Referring to the map, head over to Solitude's Edge, interact with the green flame, and start your battle with the first demon. Once the battle starts, get rid of the Shades (the weaker enemies that spawn near the demon). To fight the Formless One (the demon) Bellara will prove to be a great companion. Use combos during this battle to increase your chances of victory.

Watch out for its attack where it spins its arms around, as this could deal a lot of damage in a very short period.

2) Dock Town Demon

After defeating the first demon, head to the Spillway Beacon. Once there, you will see a green flame in the open area to the south. Interact with it to start your second battle.

Try to stay out of the circles on the ground as this time, The Formless One will throw shockwaves at you. Against this opponent, Lucanis and Emmerich are better choices as companions as the enemy is weak against Necrosis.

3) Arlathan Forest Demon

Now, for the last of the demons, head over to the Nameless building in Arlathon Forest. Go to the path to the west and interact with the green flame. What makes this fight slightly more difficult is that the path on which you are fighting is much narrower this time. This time, The Formless One will attack with Fiery Rings so you need to time your dodges accurately.

Also, since this opponent is weak against Cold, Neve will be your best bet as a companion here.

This battle would be pretty hard unless you are level 40 or more. Fortunately, you will be fighting in a huge arena which might come as a relief. Since this time The Formless One is inside the body of a dragon, the fight might pose a challenge so make sure to choose the right difficulty setting. The final boss as well is vulnerable to Necrosis so Lucanis and Emmrich will come in handy for this battle.

To defeat The Formless One, you will need to attack its legs. Make sure to attack the glowing spot and use combos to win the fight quickly. If The Formless One steps back, it is an indication that it will attack you with bolts of lightning. Dodging timely will be your best bet here to avoid getting killed. Avoid stepping inside the red circle to defend against the Ground Pound attack that The Formless One throws at you.

When The Formless One has approximately 70 percent health left, it will again start shooting lightning bolts. Stay as distant from the demon as possible during this time. Avoid fighting the skeletons that The Formless One throws at you to avoid wasting your time.

Also, make sure to recharge your health using the Health Jars spread evenly across the arena. Use Lucanis or Emmrich as part of your combo attacks to seal your victory.
