The Demon's Bargain quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard forms a crucial part of Bellara's storyline and can be accessed after completing the Siege of Wiesshaupt. It unfolds across different sections of the Arlathan Forest as the party embarks on a mission to find missing Veil Jumpers, further advancing Bellara's narrative in the game.

The Demon's Bargain quest involves battling a range of demons, but you won't be alone; another party member besides Bellara will accompany you.

How to complete The Demon's Bargain quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard

After speaking with Bellara in Dragon Age The Veilguard, a new area called the Elven Ruins will be unlocked in the Arlathan Forest. Head to the Floating Archive Temple, where the marker will guide you into a portal leading to the Floating Islands area. Here, you'll encounter two enemies.

The axe-wielding Greater Sentinels are vulnerable to Electricity, while the Voltaic Shade is vulnerable to Cold. A Greater Pride Demon will also spawn.

Defeat all these enemies and then have Bellara tinker with the controls. Interact with the marker after she's done to remove the barrier and continue.

Follow the marker to enter the Balcony Path area. Slide down the broken path to reach an area where you must face off against some enemies.

Afterward, the boss Burning Anger, who is vulnerable to Cold attacks, will appear. Defeat him and have Bellara tinker with the mechanism. Interact with it to reveal a new path.

Proceed along the path, where a Frenzied Shade enemy will attack you. Once defeated, it drops a satchel, which Bellara will identify as belonging to Mihlora.

Continue following the marker. It will lead you to an area where two Veil Jumpers are trapped in a crystal mid-air. A cutscene will play, in which Bellara's brother, Cyrian, and Anaris show up. When prompted, ask Bellara, "How could you help?" to boost your bond with her.

After the cutscene ends and Cyrian and Anaris leave, a swarm of Greater Shade and Voltaic Shade enemies will appear. Use Cold attacks to defeat them quickly.

Use Bellara's ability to destroy one of the crystals, triggering another wave of enemies. Defeat them, and have Bellara destroy the second crystal to summon the boss, Toxic Yearning.

Toxic Yearning is supported by Devouring Shade and Shade Rejuvenator enemies, both of which are vulnerable to Cold attacks. Toxic Yearning itself is vulnerable to Electric attacks. As is the case with most fights, time your dodges correctly and land heavy attacks on the boss.

After all enemies are defeated, loot the chest that appears and speak with Bellara to complete the quest.

Completing the Demon's Bargain quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard rewards you with some XP, an increase of 100 to Veil Jumpers' Strength, and a bond increase with party members.
