How to complete The Palate of a Griffon quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard
Note: There are no requirements to romance Davrin. You can start pursuing him immediately after he's added to the group, after completing the "A Warden's Best Friend" quest. Tough, nonchalant, and honest dialogue options usually gain his approval. If you've committed to an exclusive relationship with Davrin in "A Friend in Need," it will result in additional dialogue options for The Palate of a Griffon quest.

The conversation
After Rook expresses her surprise at Davrin taking a break, he mentions that Evka and Antoine suggested it considering what lies ahead for the Wardens:
Davrin: "Emmrich helped me brew a gingerwort truffle tea. I thought we'd see what all the fuss is about"
Choices:
- Gingerwort tea? Is this safe?
- Sounds fun.
- Mushroom tea? Disgusting.
- I'm glad you're relaxing. [Flirt with Davrin]
The Palate of a Griffon conversation continues. When under the influence of the drink, Rook hears Assan speak a word. Flabbergasted, Rook confirms her doubts with Davrin.
Davrin: "What?"
Choices:
- Nothing.
- Assan spoke!
- Did you hear that?
You can choose anyone to your liking, considering this doesn't concern Davrin's approval.
Davrin remembers hearing that the tea might have magical properties. He asks Rook if she's fine:
Davrin: "Hmm...maybe it affects some people more than others. You all right, Rook?"
Choices:
- Back at you, Assan.
- I think I've finally snapped.
- I'm fine. This is nothing.
- You're here. I'll be okay. [Flirt with Davrin]
