Dragon Age The Veilguard walkthrough: How to complete the Wrongs of Annulment quest

Wrongs of Annulment is among the numerous quests found throughout Thedas in Dragon Age The Veilguard. This quest takes place in three different parts of the Rivain Coast and involves battling various enemies. The objective is straightforward; simply heading to the markers initiates the fights without needing to navigate hidden areas or passageways.

How to complete the Wrongs of Annulment quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard

Before starting the Wrongs of Annulment quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard, make sure to complete Taash's side mission, Lair of the Dragon King. Once done, head to the quest marker in the Clifftops area of Rivain Coast after speaking with Rowan. Be prepared, as the fight begins almost immediately.

1) Defeating the first set of enemies at Clifftops

You will first encounter three Level 45 Undead Templars. Heavy attacks followed by melee strikes are the best strategy to defeat them.

Soon after, two Uniquet Spirits, a Murdered Mage, and a Demon of the Massacred will join the fray. Use Cold attacks on the Spirits and the Mage, and Fire attacks on the Demon. They are vulnerable to these types of attacks.

2) Taking out the Zealots and Envy of Power at Ravine Descent

Once you've beaten them, speak with the Spirit of Compassion to continue the quest. Then, head over to Ravine Descent, optionally using the beacon near the marker to travel faster.

At the marker, three Chantry Zealots await your party. However, they can be taken down with melee attacks. Watch out for the Envy Of Power enemy, which spawns more Zealots and can protect them with a defensive barrier. Land consecutive heavy attacks to take it down.

3) Defeating Arnold Maulrich

Speak with the Spirit again to be led to Tide Flats, where you will face Arnold Maulrich, Hero of the Chantry, Bane of Apostates. Despite this enemy's lengthy title, the battle may not be as long due to his weakness to Necrotic damage. However, note that he resists Cold damage.

Use a variety of detonation attacks to break his armor shield and deal with the minor enemies he spawns during the fight. Defeating these enemies will make it easier to take down Arnold.

Upon defeating these enemies, Rook will be rewarded with an increase in party member bond, 200 Gold, five Tears of Vhenadahl, and 100 Lords of Fortune Strength.
