DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is a new action game developed by Spike Chunsoft and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment on October 11, 2024. The game is based on Akira Toriyama's well-known manga, Dragon Ball. There was a lot of hype around the game due to it being based on Dragon Ball, but it became even more special for fans due to Toriyama's passing this year.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Gameplay
Spike Chunsoft claimed DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO has a similar gameplay to the classic Budokai Tenkaichi series, but it would be much better. Players would engage in thrilling high-speed 3D battles based on the anime and other video game series. The game will feature over 180 characters from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super series and movies. They all will have their signature moves, transformations, and skills as the source.
Players would get to experience classic moments from the anime or discover new encounters. They can also experience the cutscenes from the perspective of eight Dragon Ball characters. Aside from reliving the classic moments from the game, players can challenge other players in the online multiplayer. They can also participate in various tournaments with different victory conditions.
Players can not only relieve the classic Dragon Ball moments but also create their dream storyline with their favorite characters. Later, they can share those recreations with other fans and can also experience those made by others.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO Platforms
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is available on Windows PC. Moreover, this new anime action game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Those on last-gen consoles might not get to play this game, as Spike Chunsoft has shared no plans of releasing it on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
