Apart from the exciting online mode, episode battles, and world tournaments, there are some bonus battles that players can indulge in. One of these bonus battles has gamers scratching their head: A Battle of Speed! Defeat Beerus!
You can find this battle by navigating through the Custom Battle menu. This is, however, the most difficult one out of all the bonus battles. But if you can predict Beerus' attack, you can find your way toward winning the battle.

You will play this battle as Vegeta. The motive behind it is simple: Vegeta wants to "get a strong lead over Kakarot," so he asks Beerus to fight him as part of his training.
As soon as the battle starts, make sure to get enough room to charge your Ki gauge to use the Sparking Mode. Once this is done, attack Beerus to the point where he cannot use his Instakill attack on you. As soon as you enter Sparking mode, attack Beerus with Final Flash. If your attack proves unsuccessful, restart the battle.
Whenever your character states "Oh no...They're getting bored!" is your cue that Beerus will use his fatal Instakill attack soon. The key to winning the battle is to deal enough damage to Beerus that two of his health bars vanish every minute. To make things simpler, keep in mind that your opponent will be using his Instakill attack every 30 seconds. To prevent this, attack him while being in the Sparking Mode and fire off Ki blasts.
Make sure to repeat this process. Whenever you can't use Sparking Mode, the Final Flash Attack will come to your rescue. To end the fight quickly, ensure to strike Beerus while being in the Sparking mode. Furthermore, fire Ki Blasts continuously to knock him down, followed by Vegeta's Final Flash Attack to finally defeat him.
If Beerus also resorts to using Sparking Mode, opt for combos instead. If you are an expert in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, you can use Galick Gun to counter his attack. However, this requires very good timing, which is not easy for beginners. Countering his attack will result in a beam struggle where you must press the keys demonstrated on the screen to divert the force produced by the two attacks toward Beerus, which will end the fight.
Once you manage to finish the bout, you will be rewarded with 30,000 Zeni and The God of Destruction Training Battle Ability Item. This ability will help increase your maximum health when selected before a battle.
Additionally, winning this fight will unlock the God vs. God bonus battle, followed by Zamasu's Greatest Mistake. If you wish to unlock Bardock in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero without spending Zeni, you must finish Zamasu's Greatest Mistake.
