Dragon Ball Sparking Zero made a splash during Summer Game Fest 2024, giving fans a brand-new trailer. It was more than just showing the anime characters beating the stuffing out of each other with zero context this time. While that was there, Bandai Namco confirmed a story mode of some kind and an October 11, 2024 release date. It will still be a few months, but it is arriving this year.

Many of the franchise’s greatest moments were on display in the trailer: Goku vs. Frieza on Namek, Majin Vegeta versus Majin Buu, and Piccolo versus Android 17. But what fans really wanted from Dragon Ball Sparking Zero was the release date, so here’s what you need to know.
