How to fix lags and crashes in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Spending money on your favorite video games, only to be haunted by issues like stuttering and crashing, can be deeply annoying. The reasons for the same could range from poor ventilation to lack of storage among a few others. However, there are ways in which these issues can be tackled, and the section below will help with the same.
1) Check the HDMI cable
Poorly inserted cables can definitely cause trouble. Once you have specifically checked every cable connected to your console, make sure to remove the HDMI cable from both ends once and re-plug it properly. This can help eliminate any input lags. Also, make sure that the cable is not damaged by any means.
2) Check the ventilation of your PlayStation 5
If you have placed your PlayStation in a spot where there is little to no ventilation, this can be the primary reason behind the console getting overheated. If this is not the case, open the side panels of your PS5 and clean the dust accumulated properly. This will help get better temperatures.
3) Restarting the console
If the heating issue persists, try restarting the console once. Overheating might result in performance issues in games like Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. To do so, follow these steps:
- Press the PlayStation button on your dual-sense controller.
- Select the power option.
- Choose 'Restart PS5'
4) Check available storage on your console
Always ensure that your console has enough storage available. A lack of adequate storage can also result in poor performance while gaming. Make sure to get rid of the games that you are not playing as well as the unwanted game saved game files. Follow these steps:
- Go to Settings and scroll down to Storage.
- Delete Saved Data under Console Storage and Extended Storage.
- If you have any unwanted save files for Metaphor, delete them as well. For this, go to Game/App Settings and clear the Saved Data from there.
5) Check for game updates
Even though Dragon Ball Sparking Zero updates on its own if you have enabled 'Automatic Updates,' to do so manually, follow these steps:
- Navigate through your games and select the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero game tile.
- Press the Options button and click "Check for Update."
6) Try switching to a different network
Since Dragon Ball Sparking Zero heavily relies on a strong internet connection, try switching to a different network. If possible, use a LAN connection to ensure getting the best internet speed possible. To check if it actually is the issue, connect to another Wi-Fi/hotspot.
If none of these fixes worked for you, the only thing left for you to do is raise the problem with the official support team of Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.
