You will fight in several battles throughout the campaign of Dynasty Warriors Origins. There are your main story missions, Requests, and Skirmishes. Before you start a battle, you will be able to select the gear that you want to bring to the battlefield. This includes weapons, accessories, healing items, and other things. Selecting the best loadout is essential as you will be locked out of equipment options during combat.

Weapons

Starting the list, you will be able to select the weapon that you want to start the battle with. You can choose one among those that you've already unlocked. Weapons are the only items that you will be able to swap later on during the battle.

Gems provide passive skills such as healing or increasing your attack range when certain conditions are met. Unlike weapons, you won't be able to change Gems during the battle so make sure to select the ones that you think will help you out the most.
