One such battle mechanic you need to learn to increase your chances of victory is ambushes. Here's how you can ambush in Dynasty Warriors Origins to get the better of your opponent.

How to ambush in Dynasty Warriors Origins

To ambush your enemies in the game, wait for the perfect time. Since your allies' position cannot be planned in the Battle Preparation phase of the game, wait for the right moment before you can ambush. Once you see a message on your screen indicating your ally is ready to ambush, head over to your ally to attack the enemy together.

A successful ambush will temporarily lower your target enemy's Courage, which is a huge advantage during a battle. While this isn't that important in a small battle, it can definitely turn the tide during a major battle in Dynasty Warriors Origins.

As you manage to reduce your opponent's Courage via Ambushes, their will to fight, and in turn chances of winning are reduced significantly. This is when you need to bombard them with combos and Battle Arts. Your allies will also be there to help you out during this time.

Doing this, you will be able to help other allies who are at different locations on the battleground as well. This is exactly why Ambushes are extremely important in Dynasty Warriors Origins.
