With the launch of Split 2 of Apex Legends Season 22, a new Ranked season is set to be released along with a new battle pass. Among all changes, the noteworthy one is the E-District changes. In the official EA blog post, the developers unveiled that the newest map will be receiving several tweaks, the most notable one being the loot changes.

Here are all the changes that E-District will receive in Apex Legends Season 22 split 2:

  • Added assets to aid in climbing up walls in certain areas
  • Added two survey beacons to the north side of the map
  • Electro Dam's spillway slope can now be traversed upwards
  • Ground loot and Loot Bin count has been increased
  • 100 Loot Bins have been added to the map
  • Buses now have ground loot
  • Various buildings have had their ground loot slightly increased
  • Reduced the amount of possible high-tier loot spawning at The Lotus
  • Relocated Blossom Drives crafter to the far West side
  • Resolved several additional bugs and rat spots

The above-mentioned changes, especially the Loot Bin and ground loot tweaks will heavily impact the gameplay. This change can potentially open up various possibilities for the players to land and fight adversaries. The addition of more Loot Bins is an excellent choice as players will be able to acquire more loot from them in a short period.

Apart from the loot spawns, some QoL features have been implemented such as the Blossom Driver crafter being moved to the western part of the POI and the addition of two brand new Survey Beacons on the Northern part of the map.

The reduction of high-tier loot spawn on The Lotus will likely make sure that all players have equal standing right after landing.
