The comic fans will definitely be knowing about ‘the suicide squad’, the group of incarcerated villains who act as Government agents, doing the dirty work undercover, with Amanda Waller often acting as the director of the group.

Even though Arkham Origins was not made by Rocksteady, most of it’s plots will be revisited in the Arkham Knight, the most intriguing of which is teased by an end-credits scene. Deathstroke looking to claim the bounty on Batman, fails in his effort and ends up in jail. Here’s when Amanda Waller approaches Deathstroke and promises him of reduced sentence if he agrees to join something called ‘the Suicide Squad’.

Deathstroke seems a certain member of the squad and Harley Quinn is often associated with Suicide Squad work too. The other probables on the list are Deadshot and Bane. If these bad boys are added into the game, we can certainly expect some intense action.

#6 There will be TV crossovers

The CW

The latest sensational TV series Arrow by the DC universe is a massive hit. The speculations started when Stephen Amell, the actor playing Oliver Queen/The Green Arrow’s in the TV-series posted on his Facebook page about lending his voice for Arrow’s character in a “popular video game franchise”.

However, there has been no confirmation about Arrow’s presence in Arkham Knight.

With The Flash and Arrow getting a lot of popularity on the television, if they feature in the video game, it will be icing on the cake and will also be a big link between DC’s video game universe and the TV universe.

DC comic fans will definitely be hoping this cool collaboration to happen.

#5 The Joker will Return From The Dead

Rocksteady

Yes, you've read that right, Joker will return in Batman: Arkham Knight but how can this happen? It seems that in Batman: Arkham Knight the "Joker returns" scenario will happen but it's different from what you think

Rocksteady has officially stated that Joker is dead as of the ending in Arkham City, however they continued to say that the story of Arkham knight is how would Gotham be if the Joker is gone. They continued to say that Joker is going to be referenced left and right though out the game.

It has been rumored that Joker will make an appearance via Flashbacks and through a "dream sequence" when Batman gets intoxicated by Scarecrow's fear toxin.

The Joker’s presence will surely Arkham Knight interesting but perhaps Rocksteady would prefer that he continues to haunt Batman in death, rather than somehow resurrect him.

#4 The full plot has been leaked Online

Rocksteady

We’ve always seen the plots of movies being leaked on the internet even beore it’s theatrical release for some free publicity. But there was serious discussion about the plot of Arkham Knight, which was apparently released out into the wilds of the internet earlier this year.

A user named 4chan posted a series of comments on the site, apparently detailing Arkham Knight’s plot in its entirety. Without going into too much details, his comments revealed plots about the Suicide Squad being an integral part of the narrative, even more so than the Scarecrow, who has already been confirmed as the ‘main villain’. In particular, Amanda Waller will take some very dark turns in her bid to remove Batman.

The Arkham Knight will be unveiled as a clone of Bruce Wayne and Robin, Nightwing and Catwoman will all have playable chapters in the game, similar to Catwoman’s role in Arkham City.

According to the reports from gaming website Cyberland, the PS4 version of Batman Arkham Knight will be home to exclusive content such as the playable Deathstroke campaign and the Christian Bale "Dark Knight" Batsuit. The Harley Quinn campaign, however, will be available on PC and Xbox One.

Many more news about the Arkham Knight is flating around. But the truth of it will only be known after we get our hands on the game.

#3 Nightwing and Robin will have playable chapters

We all know that a good Batman story isn’t just about the Caped Crusader. It’s all about the Batman and his allies taking on the baddies. His allies also as important as the titular hero. There has been an unmitigated and irrational stance taken by both filmmakers and game developers towards the character of Robin.

Story-wise, Batman does not exist without Robin, or Nightwing – he needs those characters. The “lone wolf” characterization of Batman has been done enough, and it would certainly be a shot in the arm for the franchise to at the very least (a cooperative mode is no small order) make Robin and Nightwing integral parts of the story.

In Arkham City, Catwoman had her own playable chapters, dealing with different villains and scenarios. She also had unique combat style and equipment. Robin and Nightwing were also downloadable characters, although they could only be used in challenge maps.

Will they have a bigger role to play in this game?

#2 Superman will make a surprise appearance

Big news regarding the Batman: Arkham Knight front because the Man of Steel himself will appear on the game! Yes, Batman: Arkham Knight Superman appearance confirmed! And not only that, the secret identity of the Arkham Knight may have been revealed as well!

The IMDB page of long time Superman voice actor, George Newbern has been updated to include his credits in the Batman: Arkham Knight and guess who will he voice in the game? It's Superman!

It has been speculated that there would be a small reference to Superman in Batman: Arkham Knight via radio reports of his exploits in Metropolis but this news confirms that the Batman: Arkham Knight Superman appearance will happen. Let's hope Rocksteady makes him playable in challenge modes or what not.

#1 Arkham City still holds secrets about the game

Rocksteady Studios

As we all know that Arkham City’s reveal that was hidden in Arkham Asylum, as an example. Players couldn’t even find the Easter Egg alone – Rocksteady had to tease players towards Quincy Sharp’s office, inviting them to find the hidden wall which led to Sharp’s secret office.

Rocksteady has always had their way revealing their next game of the series by hiding secret hints . ocksteady have already begun teasing fans with a series of videos, leading them in the direction of Calendar Man showing that Arkham City still has stuff to be discovered.

Calendar Man resides in a cell beneath the Courtroom and visiting him on certain real-life days will trigger specific dialogue – there’s twelve in total with an achievement unlocking once you’ve heard all he has to say.

Or so we thought. Actually, it seems that Calendar Man has some secrets up his sleeve still. Changing the date to the 13th December 2004 (the date that Rocksteady was founded as a company) will trigger a specific series of dialogue from Calendar Man where he states: “I was there at your beginning and I will be there at your end”.

This meta-reference from Rocksteady on a logical level shows that Calendar Man’s words are fairly ominous. Is he referring to a character who could be “the end” of Batman?

There are many ways of intepreting Calendar Man’s words, But is there still any secrets hidden in Arkham City?? We’ll have to wait till someone discovers.
