At number 10 is Borussia Dortmund’s go to man Marco Reus. After Lewandowski’s departure, the pressure on Reus is going to be huge this season, and apart from setting up goals, you can use him to score from set pieces as well. He has an overall rating of 86.
#9 Alberto Costa - Spartak Moscow (Russia)
Spartak Moscow’s central midfielder Alberto Costa is one of the most reliable free kick takers in FIFA 15. He is 29 years old, so he has at least three to four good seasons left in him to offer in career mode.
#8 Beat - Athletic Bilbao (Spain)
Another Central midfielder follows up. 27 year old Benat from Atletic Bilbao can be a great acquisition in career mode since he has some years left in him to improve and make a good impact.
#7 Francesco Lodi - Parma (Italy)
One of the lesser known names on this list. Lodi has a rating of 73 in FIFA 15 and is already 30 years old. But if you are playing with a smaller team, then you can definitely go for him as he can prove to be a solid defensive midfielder apart from being an expert free kick taker.
#6 Rasmus Elm - CSKA Moscow (Russia)
Rasmus Elm follows the pattern of defensive midfielders being very good at taking free kicks. The Swede plays for CSKA Moscow and is 26 years old with a rating of 79. Can prove to be a very good buy indeed as he has at least six to seven good seasons left in him.
#5 Wesley Sneijder - Galatasaray (Turkey)
We have seen this Dutch veteran score some top quality free kicks over the years for all the teams he has represented so far. Even though he is already 30 in the game, you can still go for him as he is rated 84 and will probably be available for a cheap price despite that rating.
#4 Juan Arango - Tijuana (Mexico)
Veteran Juan Arango is still recognised as one of the best free kick takers in World football. He plies his trade in Mexico now after playing for Monchengladbach last season in which he found the back of the net 8 times in total.
#3 Lionel Messi - FC Barcelona (Spain)
No surprises over here. Lionel Messi is the highest rated player in the game with a rating of 93, and has improved his free kick conversion rate over the last couple of seasons.
#2 Sejad Salihovi - 1899 Hoffenheim (Germany)
Bosnian midfielder Salihovic is second on this list. He currently plays for 1899 Hoffenheim and has scored 50 goals for them so far. He is 30 years old and is rated 77 in the game. Can prove to be ideal in career mode if your budget is not too big.
#1 Andrea Pirlo - Juventus (Italy)
Italian maestro Andrea Pirlo takes the top spot in FIFA 15! One of those rare breed of players who get better and better in their 30’s. Despite being 35 years old, he is by far the country’s best player and has dazzled us with some stunning free kicks over the years.
