The Banner Saga is a fun and a simply crafted intelligent and tactical RPG that allows you take command of a horde of vikings out to slay other vikings. It was released as a single player campaign, The Banner Saga – the first game of a projected trilogy – on 14 January 2014, as well as a separate free-to-play online multiplayer game, The Banner Saga: Factions, in February 2013.
The game recieved faourable reviews from critics. According to IGN, The Banner Saga was excellent both in its art and in its varied story which was full of meaningful choices. The reviewer also approved of the game's tough but rewarding combat system and it’s beautiful soundtrack.
#2 Diablo III: Reaper Of Souls
Diablo III is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is the third installment in the Diablo franchise. It was released in the Americas, Europe, South Korea, and Taiwan on May 15, 2012, and Russia on June 7, 2012, for Microsoft Windows and OS X. However, the console version of the game were released a little late. For PS3 and Xbox 360 it was released on September 3, 2013 while for PS4 and Xbox One it was released on August 19, 2014.
Diablo III has received positive reviews from critics, scoring 87.64% and 88/100 on game reviewing websites GameRankings and Metacritic respectively. Before its release, Diablo III broke several presale records and became the most pre-ordered PC game to date on Amazon.com.

Child of Light is a platforming role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The game lets players o put themeslevs in the shoes of Aurora, a child stolen from her home, who must bring back the sun, the moon and the stars held captive by the mysterious Queen of the Night, in the quest of returning back to home.
Child of Light received positive reviews from critics. GameRankings and Metacriticgave the PlayStation 3 version 90.00% , PlayStation 4 version 83.33% ,the Xbox One version 82.00%, the Xbox 360 version 80.00% and the PC version 76.29% .
#4 Dark Souls II
Dark Souls II is an action RPG video game. It is the third game in the series and was available in Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Dark Souls II received universal critical acclaim. Aggregating review websites GameRankings and Metacritic gave the Xbox 360 version 90.33% and 92/100 , the PlayStation 3 version 89.68% and 91/100 and the Microsoft Windows version 88.30% and 91/100.

Bravely Default, known as Bravely Default: Flying Fairy in Japan, is a role-playing video game by Square Enix for the Nintendo 3DS, a spiritual successor to the 2010 video game Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light. The game was originally released in Japan in 2012 and was developed by Silicon Studio. On April 17, 2013, the game was announced to be released in Europe and Australia in 2013 and North America in 2014, published by Nintendo.
The game's job and battle system are similar to Final Fantasy V. It features augmented reality in the gameplay. Bravely Default revolves around four young heroes of Luxendarc.Critical reception to the game has been highly positive. In its initial launch week, Bravely Default topped Japanese sales charts at number one with over 140,000 copies.
#6 Wasteland 2
Wasteland 2 is a post-apocalyptic role-playing video game by inXile Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It is the first official sequel to the 1988 video game Wasteland. After the postponement of the original release date from October 2013, it was released on September 19, 2014.
Upon it’s release, the game received generally positive reviews from critics. Earnest Cavalli of Joystiq gave it a score of 3/5 criticizing the game for being buggy.Cory Banks of PC Gamer gave it a review score of 83/100 praising its combat and writing.
#7 Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age: Inquisition is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. It is a sequel to Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, thus making it the third major game in the Dragon Age series.
In the studio's upcoming game, BioWare is planning on collaborating elements of both earlier games in the series, Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, into the creation of Dragon Age: Inquisition. Players will be able to gain influence in areas of the world by capturing keeps or forts. This is achieved by defeating the occupants of the keep or fort. Once the Inquisition has a base in the area, new areas become available to the player.
