During a recent preview session, EA Sports revealed a new feature coming to EA Sports FC 25: the EA Sports Highlighter and its photo mode. This innovative toolset is designed for editing and sharing game highlights on the Xbox Series X|S and PS5, making it easier for players to showcase their best moments on social media.

The introduction of the EA Sports Highlighter and the native photo mode reflects EA Sports' broader initiative to enhance the user experience across its games.

During the presentation, the developer's team emphasized that these features are not exclusive to FC 25. Instead, they will gradually be implemented in other EA Sports titles, bringing similar technology to a wider audience.

The EA Sports Highlighter is set to be equipped with a user-friendly interface that combines instant replays, match highlights, and match recaps. This interface provides a variety of presets and customization options, allowing players to personalize their clips before uploading them.

Whether you want to switch cameras using the D-pad or add HyperMotion AR effects, the Highlighter Replay offers a range of tools to create engaging content.

One of the standout aspects of the Highlighter Replay is its integration into the pause menu, making it easily accessible during gameplay. The replays themselves have been slightly modified to enhance the viewing experience, with the ability to switch cameras on the left side of the screen.

Additionally, players can choose between Rewind, classic replay, and Create modes by pressing L1/R1, adding flexibility to how they review and share their in-game moments.

In a significant development, EA FC 25 will also feature an in-game photo mode and recorder, along with the EA Sports Highlighter, for the first time.

This mode is independent of the Share buttons on PlayStation and Xbox controllers, offering a comprehensive suite of tools for capturing and editing images.

Players can utilize various filters, apply slow motion, and edit the timeline to create the perfect shot. This full-fledged photo mode empowers players to express their creativity and share their favorite moments in stunning detail.

For those eager to get a head start, the EA FC 25 Ultimate Edition grants early access starting September 20, 2024, while the standard edition will be available on September 27, 2024. The game is set to release on multiple platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
