Cole Palmer cuts an impressive figure in the Chelsea squad in the English Premier League. Although netizens doubted the 22-year-old when he was a Manchester City benchwarmer, he rose from the ashes and established himself as one of the best CAMs in PL history. Despite a drastic 2023/24 season, Palmer was one of the few players who maintained his form and bagged 22 goals in his 34 appearances for the Blues. In the current season, he scored 13 goals and made six assists, earning a reputation as a versatile midfielder in PL. Footballers who have contributed significantly to their clubs and international teams by maintaining an incredible form throughout 2024 deserve a spot in the EA FC 25 starting XI. Keeping that in mind, Cole Palmer definitely deserves a spot in the midfield section.
Although almost the whole Chelsea squad was in shambles in their 2023/24 season, the Manchester-born player did great individually and scored 22 goals. Chelsea is now having a decent season in the EPL and Palmer is certainly one of the squad's key players. EA has already provided him with a massive upgrade to his player card, a +19 boost from his previous iteration card, making him an 85-rated player.

Cole Palmer currently has four special EA FC 25 items: Two TOTW, one POTM card, and a 90-rated Winter Wildcards item. Considering the current meta, if Palmer gets an entry to the EA FC 25 TOTY roster, he is expected to have a massive potential to be a meta CAM card.
Other midfielder nominees, such as Jude Bellingham and Rodri, deserve to be in the starting XI roster as well. While Bellingham had a spectacular debut season with Real Madrid, winning the UCL and La Liga trophies, Rodri has won the Ballon d'Or, EURO 2024.
