EA Sports has released the first EVO during the Road to the Knockouts promo in Ultimate Team, with the EA FC 25 Power Surge Evolution allowing gamers to upgrade their players. This is an interesting EVO as its requirements can be applied to a wide variety of players across various positions. It is also free of cost and does not require any coins or FC points to be unlocked.
There have been several free EVOs so far in the first week of Early Access in Ultimate Team, including the Box-to-Box EVO. However, the new EA FC 25 Power Surge Evolutions is different as it is not locked for specific positions, even if the maximum rating threshold is not too high. Additionally, there are certain stat limits up to which a player can be boosted.
