But it seems like they have caused a major blunder in the ratings. In the list, the goalkeepers' stats allude to them being among the best shooters, dribblers, and passers in the game.

Currently, developers have revealed a partial list of 40 players. The full EA FC 25 Ratings list will be revealed on September 13, 2024, at 12 PM PT. However, the current Player Ratings list contains goalkeepers like Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Jan Oblok, and Alisson Becker among the best passers, shooters, and physical players in the game.

This blunder in stats possibly stems from EA Sports having mixed up the criteria for GKs and other players. Historically, outfield players are judged on metrics like Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, and Physicality. On the other hand, GKs are judged based on metrics like Diving, Handling, Kicking, Positioning, and Reflexes.

But for the EA FC 25 Ratings, it looks like the developers forgot to separate the stats of the GKs from other players, resulting in the glorious stats for the former.
