EA FC 25 Serie A POTM nominees for October revealed, Kvaratskhelia and Thuram lead the pack

EA Sports has released the EA FC 25 Serie A POTM nominees for the month of October, with Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Inter's Marcus Thuram being the favorites. They are two of the best and most consistent performers in Italian club football at the moment and both superstars are in the running to win their second Player of the Month award of the season already.

The previous POTM SBCs for Marcus Thuram and Kvaratskhelia were well-recieved by gamers, with the former being one of the best value strikers in Ultimate Team. If the Frenchman manages to win and receive another overpowered SBC item, he will certainly be extremely popular yet again.

Kvaratskhelia and Thuram are amongst the EA FC 25 Serie A POTM nominees for the month of October

Napoli are currently at the top of the Serie A table, followed closely by reigning champions Inter. With such impressive results over the course of the season, it comes as no surprise that their talismanic attackers are part of the EA FC 25 Serie A POTM nominees list. Both Kvaratskhelia and Thuram are prime candidates to receive the award due to their goal-scoring exploits last month.

Marcus Thuram is currently the second-highest goalscorer in the league with seven goals and two assists, while Kvaratskhelia has five goals and two assists. However, they have both been outperformed by Atalanta's Mateo Retegui, who has eleven goals in the league. The Italian striker has also been nominated and could earn his second SBC item of the year after his recent Trailblazers version.

Nuno Tavares is also an excellent candidate for this award. Despite being a left-back, he is currently the leading assist provider in the league and already received a boosted item via objectives during the Trailblazers promo.

This will undoubtedly be an extremely close race amongst the EA FC 25 Serie A POTM nominees, with the winner receiving an upgraded SBC version in Ultimate Team. While Thuram and Kvaratskhelia are certainly the favorites due to their popularity amongst Ultimate Team gamers, Nuno Tavares and Mateo Retegui definitely deserve the award as well.

Francisco Conceicao from Juventus and Yacine Adli have also been impressive in the league over the course of October but will struggle to compete against the star power of the other nominees.
