With more information and details about EA FC 25 now available, fans will be excited to learn that plenty of changes will be made to Ultimate Team with this entry. This is by far the most popular mode in the FIFA series, and a large portion of the player base purchases the game every year to experience it.
While there are plenty of gameplay-based changes coming to the franchise with this installment, new features in Ultimate Team are always the selling point for every new FIFA title, and EA FC 25 will be no different.
Division Rivals has been revamped in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team
Division Rivals is among the premier competitive game modes in Ultimate Team. Not only does it serve as a test for the best pro players in the world at the highest level, it offers amazing rewards for casuals and veterans of the series alike as well. EA FC 25 Ultimate Team will feature some exciting changes to this mode.

Earning rewards
In earlier iterations of the series, gamers had to achieve a certain number of wins to earn specific reward tiers in Division Rivals. However, this has been changed in EA FC 25, as games will now provide players with points instead. Earning three points for a win and one point for a draw now means that gamers will not be disappointed and leave empty-handed after a hard-earned draw.
Division Placement
The current rank of EA FC 24 players will be taken into account to determine their division in the upcoming title. This will enable veterans of the series to make progress and achieve better rewards quicker. It will also ensure that beginners do not have to play against experienced gamers early on in the game cycle.
Live Football Ultimate Team Friendlies have also been changed
Skill-based matchmaking was implemented for Live Online Friendlies in EA FC 24, much to the disappointment of gamers around the globe. Consistently playing against players from the same Division Rivals level made it hard to complete objectives, but this is set to change in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team.
The matchmaking will now be more ELO-based, matching individuals who have won and lost a similar amount of games in the mode.
Evolutions requirements have been changed
Evolutions was a brand new addition to Ultimate Team in EA FC 24, allowing gamers to level up low-tier cards and make them overpowered by completing in-game challenges. While this was an exciting feature, the requirements often made it quite restrictive.
EA FC 25 will make the requirements less restrictive, providing gamers with a larger player pool of options to choose from when attempting EVOs.
SBC storage and contracts
Duplicate untradeable players are often a nuisance to deal with, as gamers can't sell them in the transfer market and the quicksell recovery options are limited. EA FC 25 will contain a separate SBC storage with 100 slots, allowing gamers to save their duplicates for future use.
Contracts have also been removed from the game for both players and managers, providing a more seamless experience for gamers in Ultimate Team.
