Lamine Yamal is considered one of the best youth talents in Europe. Coming from La Masia, he captivated the minds of all football fans with his exceptional ball control and skills. As a result, the Spanish wonderkid has been nominated to be a part of the EA FC 25 TOTY roster. The 17-year-old prodigy has recently won the Kopa 2024 trophy.
Yamal was one of the key players in Spain's EURO 2024 winning campaign. After considering all his achievements in 2024, he is likely to be part of the EA FC 25 TOTY, but as a 12th man rather than as part of the starting XI.
Even though Yamal's 81-rated card isn't the meta player in EA FC 25, his special item cards hold massive price tags in the in-game transfer market. On top of that, if he does make an appearance as a part of the starting XI or 12th man, his TOTY item is expected to boast exceptional attributes across the board.

Lamine Yamal could be a 12th man in EA FC 25 TOTY
Lamine Yamal played a key role in Spain's EURO 2024 winning campaign. Despite being only 16 years old at that stage, the La Masia kid showcased a promising performance on the International stage. On top of that, he became the youngest player to win the Kopa 2024 trophy and wrote his name in the annals of history.
At the domestic level, Barcelona started their 2024/25 campaign well, and Lamine Yamal helped the club maintain the top position on the table. He currently has the highest number of assists (10) in La Liga. On top of that, the 17-year-old winger also contributed to Barcelona's UCL journey. He formed a great sync with his other TOTY nominee teammates Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Pedri, and others.
However, Yamal might face tough competition as other players such as Mohamed Salah, Vinicius Junior, Erling Haaland, and Lautaro Martinez ended their 2024 journey on a good note.

While Erling Haaland kept his usual goal-scoring and bagged a lot of goals for his club and nation, Salah has been one of the consistent footballers in the 2024/25 EPL campaign.

Each of the nominees has a fair share of contributions to their name. Lamine Yamal also did so much at this young age for both his club and nation. However, considering the popularity of the other attacking nominees, he's not likely to get a chance in the starting XI. That said, he's one of the top contenders to be the 12th man in the EA FC 25 TOTY roster.
