One of the most significant selling points of FIFA 22 is the Ultimate Team setting that allows players to forge a team of their own to go up against other players in online multiplayer matches.
Although the multiplayer aspect of FIFA 22 is widely known for its gameplay and competitiveness, some online players have been found abusing a specific type of formula that other players deem entirely unfair.
In a recent tweet, one such player complained regarding the abuse that their opponent did to avoid losing a multiplayer game of FIFA 22.

What is this ‘major unfair’ issue in FIFA 22?
While many other competitive multiplayer games exist where wins and losses affect the player’s ranking, none of them have such dubious features as introduced by EA in FIFA 22.
Apparently, according to the player, the opponent they were facing equalized the scoreline and then went ahead and quit the match 65 minutes into the multiplayer game.
While this may seem like a typical case of rage quitting, it deeply affects the players they go up against. The player who tweeted regarding this issue was handed out a void match due to their opponent leaving the game.
The quitter was handed a definite loss as a result. However, the player who remains in the game gets neither a loss nor a win, not even a draw. The match statistics get voided as the player has wasted precious time of their life.
This issue has been a dominant one for previous installments of the game as well.
Steps taken by EA to address this issue
While players worldwide have cried out for a possible fix for this issue, EA has adamantly ignored the players. Not only that, when a player contacted EA support regarding this quitting issue that voids one’s matches, EA support replied that they understand the problem but are unable to fix the issue.
According to EA support, if they ever fix this issue, there might be a possibility that players might find loopholes in the system to abuse it towards their advantage to get free wins.
