EA Sports releases trailer of new MMA console 'UFC'

Renowned sports video game maker, EA Sports, recently released a trailer of ‘UFC’, which is it’s second foray into the fighting genre of Mixed Martial Arts.

The UFC franchise was first owned by THQ, however, it’s recent demise spelled a perfect opportunity for competitor Electronic Arts to swoop, and make it a part of it’s long list of famous sports game licenses.

Although the trailer features some extremely impressive visuals and game-play mechanics, the jury is out on how the it will eventually play out after it’s official release.

The game is being released only on two platforms, Xbox One and PS4. The team’s creative director Brian Hayes, confirmed that there are no plans for a Wii U release, and would focus solely on the eighth gen twins.
